関数gplot_figcode()やmgplot_figcode()を使えば， ウィンドウに表示されたグラフを簡単にFIGコードファイル に保存できる。例えば，正弦波と余弦波をウィンドウ に表示した後，FIGコードファイル(sin_cos.fig) に出力するには次のようにする。
